Indians Can Visit UAE to Seek Jobs Without Employer or Sponsor!

Here is the good news for Indians who are seeking jobs in the UAE. Now, you have an option to enter Dubai and search for a job even without having a local employer or sponsor. This is possible with the latest option. The Dubai Job Exploration Visit Visa allows eligible jobseekers to visit the emirate, attend interviews, participate in recruitment processes and explore employment opportunities before securing a job.

For Indians planning to move to the UAE for work, the visa provides an opportunity to conduct their job search from Dubai instead of applying for jobs while staying in India.

Applicants can choose a visa for 60, 90 or 120 days, depending on how much time they need to look for a job. The stay may also be extendable under applicable rules and approvals, with the total period potentially reaching 180 days.

Who Can Apply?

The visa is mainly aimed at skilled professionals. Applicants generally need to have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.

The jobs they are looking for must fall under skill levels 1, 2 or 3, based on the classification used by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

Recent graduates from India may also be eligible. They can qualify if they completed their degree within the previous two years from a university ranked among the world’s top 500 institutions under recognised international rankings.

Applicants may also have to show that they have enough financial resources to support themselves during their stay in the UAE.

Documents Indian Applicants Need

Those applying for the visa need to prepare documents such as:

A passport valid for at least six months
Recent photographs
Attested educational qualifications
Proof of financial means, where applicable
Other documents required based on the applicant’s category
Applications can be submitted online through GDRFA Dubai or the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP).

Applicants need to enter their personal details, select the required visa duration, upload the necessary documents and pay the applicable fees online. Once approved, the visa is issued electronically.

Visa doesn’t guarantee Job

The Dubai Job Exploration Visit Visa does not guarantee a job. Applicants should independently verify the latest eligibility rules, fees and visa conditions through official UAE government channels.
