Shalini Pandey’s career in Bollywood has been a bit of a winding road. After the Arjun Reddy wave, where everyone kept calling her Preiti even off-screen, the shift to Hindi films didn’t really explode the way people expected. She’s been hopping from OTT work to small features and even music videos, mostly staying afloat rather than making a breakout. This year’s idli Kadai with Dhanush was one of those “good to see her again” moments.

Meanwhile, Shalini Pandey shared a couple of new photos, and there’s something soft and unhurried about the way she looks here. The satin dress, the clean lines, her hair pulled back without any drama, it all feels simple but very her.
