Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has decided to schedule Engineering exams which were postponed due to nationwide pandemic lockdown. The decision to conduct the B.Tech and B. Pharmacy exams was taken in a high-level meeting. The exams will be conducted from June 20 in the state.
JNTU has released a set of guidelines to management of Engineering institutions that should be followed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Below are some key measures issued by JNTU-H to conduct examinations at respective colleges, besides putting in place some basic precautions like mandatory masks, thermal checks, sanitization of exam centers and physical distancing.
All the end-semester examinations shall be conducted for a duration of two hours.
The question paper shall be set in such a way that students can answer each question within 20 minutes of time.The pattern of the exam will be answering five out of 8 questions.
The semester-end examinations shall be conducted at respective parent colleges only. There shall be no credit based detention for this academic year, i.e 2020-21.
Students who are cannot attend the final semester examinations due to mobility restrictions will be allowed to appear for the advanced supply exams. These exams shall be scheduled within 45 days after regular B.Tech exams.
