Naidu Pacifies Upset Gorantla; All Is Well

The episode of Rajahmundry (Rural) MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Choudary has come to a conclusion with the six time legislator has cooled down. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu called on Gorantla at NTR bhavan in Mangalagiri and for about 40 minutes, both talked in person and detail.

After the meeting of Chandrababu, Gorantla spoke to the media and he clarified that he is taking back his resignation decision. “Yes it’s true that I wanted to quit politics due to the prevailing situations in the party. But my party men, cadre and supporters have expressed their concerns over my resignation,” said Gorantla.

Disclosing the details of the meeting with TDP chief, Gorantla said, “Regarding the party, I have placed my opinion and views before Chandrababu. I also explained about the cadre’s thought process. In my view people who have worked hard for the party should get the due recognition and if there are any loopholes, they need to be rectified immediately.”

Reiterating that he will be a true loyalist to TDP, Gorantla added that his intentions are only to save the party from outsiders. “As long as I’m alive I will remain in TDP and there is no second thought in it,” summed up Gorantla.

With Gorantla calming down, the TDP cadre has breathed it easy.
