Video: Covid Vaccine At Door Steps In AP

The state of Andhra Pradesh has administered about 3.84 crore Covid-19 vaccines so far (Including first and second dose) and the weekly positivity rate in the state is at 2.18 percent while the recovery rate is 98.63 percent. Yet the state is posting a thousand cases on an average.

Under these circumstances AP CM YS Jagan has directed the health department to vaccinate as many people on a day-to-day basis and increase the vaccination percentage. As the health department received the CM’s orders, they have initiated a door-to-door campaign on vaccines.

A video of health workers with vaccine boxes in their hands have hit the streets in AP and are seen shouting ‘Corona Vaccine… Have you received your jab?” Despite the hot sun, the health workers are on duty and reaching every door and asking people. However people’s participation is also a must here and they should come forward to take the vaccine.

Earlier the Asha workers have been the backbone of the state during the peak of the pandemic. These efforts of Asha and health workers deserve a huge applause.
