After Nara Lokesh, Opposition leader and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has contracted Covid-19. He is doing fine and is under home quarantine. He has isolated himself and taking necessary precautions. According to reports, Naidu developed mild symptoms and got tested for corona virus.
71-year-old Naidu took to his Twitter page and wrote, “I’ve tested positive for COVID with mild symptoms. I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions.”
“I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. Please be safe and take care,” Naidu added.
Meanwhile, TDP’s senior leader and former Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma was also tested positive. He confirmed the same through his social media post.
It can be noted that AP’s active coronavirus cases crossed the 30,000 mark to reach 30,182 as on January 17. 4,108 fresh positives were added in the state on Monday. Visakhapatnam district reported 1,018 and Chittoor 1,004 fresh infections.
