The other day, amid serious proceedings in the Rajya Sabha, a light-hearted moment took place after the Chairman of the house, Venkaiah Naidu, asked a genuine question to the Malayalam actor and BJP MP from Kerala Suresh Gopi. Gopi sported a new beard style as he stood up to present his address in Rajya Sabha and along with others, even Venkaiah Naidu was seen as utterly confused.
When Gopi was about to start speaking, the Vice-President was compelled to ask if it was a mask or a grown-up beard. The question left the members of the House and also netizens in splits. Subsequently, Suresh Gopi explained that it was a beard and it was his new look for his next film.
Naidu could not figure out if Gopi was wearing a grey-coloured mask or sporting a snowy beard. He asked in Hindi: “Mask hain? beard hain?. Suresh Gopi was delivering his speech for Adivasis/ The video has now gone viral on social media with unanimous reactions of laughter. Also, Twitter loved Gopi’s body language and take-it-easy attitude.
