Jagan, Hit Back On Comparing AP With Sri Lanka!

The Andhra Pradesh government is giving away unprecedented freebies than any other state in the country. These freebies were the poll promises of the YCP government and CM Jagan is ensuring to implement every promise made. But this is putting a huge financial burden on the state’s exchequer.

Despite the odds, the freebies are continuing while oppositions are criticising the YCP government over the debts. The main opposition, TDP, is warning the YCP government that AP might become another Sri Lanka if the freebies go on with.

Reacting to these comments, CM Jagan hit back at the opposition. “It seems oppositions are crying foul that AP will become Sri Lanka, if our government does good for the people. But if we ditch the promises, they claim that AP will become America. Such comments are derogating and do they really know the meaning of morality, justice, virtue … at least in any context?” questioned Jagan.

Throwing the blame for debts, Jagan added that when in government they robbed the state by all means. “The previous government has done no good for the people and when we are trying to bring a change, they are using the media to run a negative campaign by publishing lies against the government,” stated Jagan.

The AP CM was clearly restless over the comparison being made by the TDP and selective media. Jagan countered that the YCP government’s good deeds will ensure the oppositions will lose their deposits in the next elections.
