TRS Working President KTR made sensational comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dared the BJP to arrest him like Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani who posted a controversial tweet on PM Modi.
“The other day Congress MLA Jignesh posted a tweet saying Modi worships Godse, the man who killed Mahatma Gandhi. He was jailed for this tweet and I would like to endorse what Jignesh has said. i dare to put me in jail,” KTR said in an interview with a popular Telugu news channel.
“PM Modi utters Gandhi’s words but his actions resemble Godse’s words. Can Modi say that in independent India, the first terrorist was Godse for killing Gandhi, who is father of the nation? A BJP MP made similar comments against Modi but no action was taken against their own party MP whereas the Congress MLA was immediately arrested,” said KTR.
The TRS leader also cited another example wherein a journalist by name Aakar Patel who penned a book exposing Modi. The journalist was arrested in the airport and he was restricted from travelling abroad.
KTR’s comments have gone viral and the BJP leaders are fuming over the TRS Working President. They are contemplating to take legal action against KTR.
