AP tourism minister Roja hit back at Hindupur MLA Balakrishna for his remarks against YCP government at NTR birth anniversary celebrations. At Tenali Balakrishna was critical of YCP that the current state government is not sparing the temples.
“One chance has destroyed the state and we are lagging behind (in development) by a long margin. It’s time that everyone introspects and votes wisely,” said Balakrishna and announced that he would develop Nimmakuru (NTR’s birth place) as a tourist hub and will soon set up a big statue of NTR.
Reacting to these comments, Roja said that her co-star seems to be innocent. “Chandrababu was CM for 14 long years while Balakrishna was MLA for five years. When in government, why didn’t they develop Nimmakuru?” questioned Roja.
The YCP minister said that the entire NTR family should be thankful to CM Jagan. “Jagan has immense respect for NTR and so his government named Krishna district after NTR. For this the NTR family should thank Jagan instead of making silly comments,” stated Roja.
Roja was a little bit watchful while countering Balakrishna but she replied in her usual style against Chandrababu.
