BJP Blames WB Government For KK’s Death

Singer KK’s death came in as a shocker for everyone in the country. The 53-year-old singer suffered a massive heart attack after performing at a college event on Tuesday in Kolkata. Meanwhile, KK’s death has now led to a political spat between West Bengal’s ruling party Trinamul Congress and the primary opposition, BJP.

The opposition blamed West Bengal’s government for lapses and demanded an impartial probe. The ruling party responded sharply to the BJP and asked the latter to stop “vulture politics.”

According to the official reports, KK felt a bit uneasy after performing at a concert organized by Gurudas College at Nazrul Mancha in south Kolkata on May 31. He had collapsed after reaching the hotel. When he was admitted to the hospital, he was declared dead.

BJP blamed the administration for completely failing to do proper security arrangements for the concert. BJP state spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya said that around 7000 people were present at the concert venue where the seating capacity was only around 3000. He alleged that KK was mobbed there which means that there were no proper security measures taken for a VIP.

TMC state general secretary Kunal Ghosh strongly condemned the allegations of the BJP. He asked the opposition party to stop these vulture politics. He said that KK’s death is unfortunate and everyone is sad about it. He further added that it is sad to see BJP politicizing his death. Ghosh went on to say it would not be surprising if BJP starts alleging that KK belonged to their party.

He asserted that the administration is taking all measures and the investigation is currently underway. Meanwhile, the initial post-mortem report says that the singer was suffering from prolonged cardiac issues. A detailed report is expected to be declared by the cops today.
