Nenu Chusanu.. Nenu Vinnanu.. Nenu Vunnanu

After elected as the YSRCP’s permanent president, party chief and AP CM YS Jagan made a stellar speech at the conclusion of YSRCP plenary. Jagan stuck to his massy speech and played it to the galleries. Jagan started his speech by saluting to the people in his style. He recited his popular one-liner, “Nenu Chusanu. Nenu Vinnanu. Nenu Vunnanu.”

CM Jagan said that in the last three years in power, he focused on keeping promises, words he had made. Jagan said the party (Congress party) that got him arrested and jailed is nowhere visible. Jagan said YSRCP had lost power in 2014 with meager 1 percent votes. He stated that YSRCP stormed into power on May 23, 2019 with a terrific majority. Jagan described it as God’s script. He said that with YSRCP’s victory, it is once again proved that good will prevail over evil. Jagan said YSRCP’s political journey started with 1 MLA seat and 1 MP seat and it reached 151 MLAs, 22 MPs. Jagan has thanked everyone for electing him as the permanent president of YSRCP. He said, “YSRCP is your party. I’m yours.” He added, “With the blessings of God, with the trust and love of people and with the infinite hard work done by all YSRCP party workers, YSRCP came to power.”

Jagan went on to recall the public welfare schemes and the benefits bestowed upon the beneficiaries. He listed out the crores of money that is spent for the public and how the people are benefited from his government. He said students, women, farmers and BCs, SCs, minorities have been benefited. CM Jagan directly targeted TDP chief and Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu throughout his speech and drew comparisons between his governance and previous TDP governance. Jagan also mentioned the recently made MOU with Byju’s to benefit students. He said Chandrababu is making a joke out of it saying “which juice?” Jagan made this plenary speech highly political keeping the next general elections in the mind.

Jagan made interesting comments on his anti-media and Pawan Kalyan. Jagan said, “We don’t have Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi, TV5 and Dattaputrudu (Pawan Kalyan). All that we have is people’s support. We have to win with their votes. Our target is to win 175 out of 175 seats in the next general elections.” Jagan appealed to YSRCP leaders and party workers to get ready for the next election and asked everyone to work in tandem, harmony. He asked leaders and party workers to reach every household. He asked cadres to fight back against the TDP’s “tactics” through social media.
