Munugode: Congress Repeating The Same Mistake

The Indian National Congress (INC) aka Congress party has the habit of committing mistakes repeatedly and doesn’t have the habit of rectifying it. Especially during elections, these mistakes cost the party heavily yet the scenario hasn’t changed.

During the Huzurabad by-election, Congress party took its own sweet time to decide the candidate and by then the BJP and TRS were busy with campaigning. It’s the same scene in the case of Munugode. BJP and TRS candidates are already reaching out to people while Congress party did not finalise their face.

There have been reports that the Congress party will decide Munugode candidate by the end of this month and now it looks like this isn’t happening anytime soon. This delay in picking up the candidate has created confusion among the aspirants. As a result they are yet to commence the campaign for the party in the constituency.

On the other hand, Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy who resigned from Congress and joined BJP, is visiting every mandal and village of the constituency. On a day-to-day basis, Rajgopal Reddy is meeting leaders and is gathering their support. Having taken the by-poll very personally, Rajgopal Reddy is not resting.

Though TRS party did not announce its candidate, minister Jagadish Reddy has deployed his team in Munugode. With the local TRS cadre, they are working on strategies to be implemented during the elections irrespective of the candidate.

The seniors in T-Congress have appealed to the leadership to announce the candidate at the earliest and begin the campaign in Munugode. Recently T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy and a few T-Congress leaders met Priyanka Gandhi and discussed the by-poll. Later T-Congress in-charge Manickam Tagore met Nalgonda Congress leaders on finalising the candidate.

Following this Revanth, Bhatti and key leaders of Nalgonda met and held wide range consultations on the candidate. They have come to a conclusion that the ticket allotment should be transparent and whoever gets the B-Form, the campaign should be a collective effort.

But when will Congress zero on candidate and announce officially? Nalgonda Congress leaders are eagerly waiting for this moment.
