Out of nowhere political rumours hit the headlines that the Congress and TRS party would team up for an alliance and these rumours created unrest in the Congress. Apparently the rumours erupted post CM KCR’s visit to Bihar and meeting CM Nitish Kumar. Later Nitish flew down to Delhi and met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting to these rumours, T-PCC chief Revanth Reddy said never it dreams Congress will join hands with TRS. “For the last eight years, TRS and KCR’s family have looted Telangana. We are not ready to shake hands with corrupt people. Never in dreams that would happen. Our leader Rahul Gandhi also made it clear that there is no question of working with TRS,” clarified Revanth.
On BJP’s growth in Telangana, Revanth faulted KCR. “BJP doesn’t even have ten notable leaders in Telangana but KCR imagines that his main opponent is BJP. Only because of KCR’s over enthusiasm, people are discussing the BJP. The fact is BJP will not even win double digits in the next polls,” said Revanth.
When asked about Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo,’ Revanth explained that the BJP is trying to divide the country but the Congress party will not let it happen. “Rahul Gandhi will speak to people in his Bharat Jodo yatra and will expose BJP’s hatred. RaGa will enter Telangana in October and we are sure that his tour will change the prospects of Congress in Telangana,” said Revanth.
So T-PCC chief clarification is enough and now the rumours of Congress and TRS alliance can rest.
