After Chiru’s Audio, Congress Issues New ID Card!

Post AP bifurcation, Megastar Chiranjeevi continued as Rajya Sabha MP and upon his tenure ended, he left politics but he did not make any official statement regarding quitting politics. On Tuesday Chiru shared an audio clip on social media and this created a huge storm in film industry and political circles.

Many assumed that it was a dialog from his upcoming movie ‘Godfather’ and Chiru is in no mood to continue in politics. Amidst this an interesting development took place as the Congress party issued a fresh ID card for Chiranjeevi.

Recognising Chiru as a PCC delegate, the Congress party issued a new ID card and the validity of this card is till the year 2027. Once again the political circles are abuzz with Chiru’s re-entry into politics reports with this development.

The Congress party will be going for an election to select their party President and it is doing wide range arrangements for the same. The media analysed that since Chiru did not resign to Congress party membership technically and accordingly the AICC still recognises him as their party delegate.

For every constituency, the AICC has appointed two PCC delegates and Chiru has been made one of the PCC delegates for Kovvur constituency. Yet the decision lies with Chiru whether to take part in the Congress President election. But this ID card pumped up the AP Congress cadre and they really wish to see him back and be active in the party.

Will Chiru return to Congress then? The ball is definitely in his court.
