Jagan Appoints Posani As ‘APSFTV’ Chairman

Tollywood actor Posani Krishna Murali has been a strong supporter of AP CM YS Jagan. Posani went to an extent that he dared to go against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. That’s another story which is never ending and here is a big update related to Posani.

The writer turned actor has been appointed as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation with immediate effect. Accordingly the AP government released a G.O. shortly confirming Posani’s appointment.

It’s been just a week that CM Jagan had appointed Tollywood actor Ali as ‘Advisor to Government (Electronic Media)’, with a tenure of two years. The star comedian had joined the YCP before the 2019 elections and he was expecting either Rajya Sabha or chairman for Waqf board. However CM Jagan could not accommodate Ali in either of the two but Ali was given a suitable position. There were reports that Ali was made advisor because speculations were rife that the Tollywood actor was looking at his friend Pawan Kalyan’s party.

Coming to Posani’s appointment, it was no surprise. The YCP lacks the cinema touch even though the likes of Roja and Manchu family are well with CM Jagan. The ruling party wants to go to the 2024 elections with a decent support from the Tollywood industry and a pinch of glamour can help in the poll campaign.
