Munugode By-poll: Exit Polls Favour TRS

The polling for Munugode by-election has concluded and as per the preliminary stats from the Election Commission, close to 87 percent polling has taken place. Shortly after the polling concluded, the Exit Polls were out and a majority of them voted in favour of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

HMR TRS (42.13%) BJP (31.98%) Congress (21.06%)

If the Exit Polls prediction turns true then Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy has wrongly estimated the prominence of BJP in Telangana. However no survey mentioned about BSP led by RS Praveen Kumar. Some recent developments analysed that BSP helped in splitting the votes but it is unclear whether it worked in the favour of TRS.
