RRR Craze: This is how ‘Politricks’ work

Telangana BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar often make it to the headlines for his controversial statements. Sanjay not only lashes out against the ruling TRS government but also raises his voice against various issues in society. 

Now, he is being trolled by netizens for his double standards. If we get into the story, when SS Rajamouli’s RRR was up for release, Bandi Sanjay threatened to stop the release and also warned the makers to remove objectionable scenes in it.

Jr NTR, who played the role of Komaram Bheem in the movie, appears in a traditional Muslim outfit in one of the scenes of the movie. Sanjay alleged that director Rajamouli undermined Komaram Bheem by making his character wear a Muslim outfit. He also threatened to stop the film’s release.

However, nothing of that sort happened and RRR became a huge success at the box office. Yesterday, the film’s song Naatu Naatu also won the Best Song Award at the prestigious Golden Globes. 

After this win, Sanjay appreciated the team by tweeting, “Hearty Congratulations to @mmkeeravaani garu and the entire team of @RRRMovie for winning the @goldenglobes award for best original song #NaatuNaatu. You made India proud on the world stage with this historic achievement.”

Thus, netizens are trolling him for his double standards. Meanwhile, Sanjay is yet to respond to these trolls.
