The state of Telangana has wrapped up its tour of Davos where the World Economic Forum 2023 was held. Like always Telangana IT minister KTR led his team of ten members at Davos and in the last four days, KTR met multiple tech heads from around the world.
As per the Telangana IT Ministry handle, KTR and team took part in 52 business meetings, six round table conferences and two panel discussions. Summing up all these, the state has bagged Rs 21,000 crore investments and some big names like Microsoft, AirTel have signed MoUs with the Telangana government. Minister KTR thanked his team and IT ministry principal secretary Jayesh Rajan for the support in Davos.
If this is the case of Telangana, the state of Andhra Pradesh completely sidelined the World Economic Forum. The state government will be hosting an investment summit in Vizag in March and has reportedly invited the likes of Elon Musk, Tim Cook and others to attract investments.
AP IT minister Gudivada Amarnath defended his government’s stand of staying away from WEF and added that the investment summit in Vizag would fetch more investments to the state under the leadership of AP CM YS Jagan.
