Former IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who is on his Yuva Galam Padayatra, has made some interesting comments on engineering education and Information Technology jobs.
Lokesh said several engineering students are pursuing four-year-long engineering courses and again landing in private coaching centres at Hyderabad’s Ameerpet for jobs.
Lokesh said students who couldn’t be taught job-required courses in the engineering colleges are learning the courses within 3 months in the coaching centres. Lokesh stressed the need for reforms in courses and syllabus.
Assuring the students and parents, Lokesh said the TDP government will bring educational reforms in Andhra Pradesh as soon as it returns to power. He said thus, all the big IT and tech companies land in AP to recruit the students for their firms.
Lokesh said this also brings a lot of investments to the state. He assured a bright future is ahead for students of Andhra Pradesh and it will be possible with the TDP. Lokesh’s Yuva Galam padayatra is going on unabated in Chittoor district. Lokesh is going to walk covering 4000 kms in 400 days.
