This Proves Sai Reddy Not In Jagan’s Good Books?

YCP senior leader V. Vijayasai Reddy is a man sans political power now, according to many having acquaintance with him in the political circles. Reddy is known for his harsh and abusive langauge against his rivals, both offline and online. However, his tweets for the last few days seem to lack the intended offence against his opponents.

Further, his importance and influence in the YCP is also diminishing by the day. His amicable behaviour with his political rival N. Chandrababu Naidu at Taraka Ratna’s death has drawn much attention and also raised a contrvoersy. Vijayasai Reddy is a close relative of Taraka Ratna.

While the entire YCP cadre was involved in propaganda against TDP leader and MLA N. Balakrishna, Vijayasai Reddy was all praises for him. The death of Taraka Ratna made the public see a pronounced change in Vijayasai Reddy. His demenaour with Chandrababu Naidu was something his party boss and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would disapprove, speculated the party activists.

As expected, Vijayasai Reddy’s prominence has been relegated and it can be said that his political clout has reduced to an abysmal level.

In view of the Assembly elections next year, the party leadership has planned to strengthen the cadre right from the grassroots. As part of this effort, district-level panels have been constituted which would work in coordination with the party leadership. The committees will have separate heads for separate wings and their names have also been announced recently. It is pertinent to note that Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy’s name was announced as the party state coordinator of these committees.

Earlier, this position was occupied by Vijayasai Reddy and Chevireddy was given the responsibility of co-incharge then. Already, Vijayasai Reddy has been removed from the social media coordinator post and the position has been given to government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s son Bhargav.

The latest move of removing him even from the district committees’ coordinator reflects the fact that Vijayasai Reddy is not in the good books of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
