YCP MLA Votes For Amaravati

A few days back Mylavaram MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad was in headlines for his comments against his party. MLA Vasantha expressed his disappointment over leaders and cadre for not cooperating with him in the constituency and this irked YCP high command for taking the issue in public instead of resolving it internally.

Also on the AP Capital, MLA Vasantha backed Amaravati farmers. Yet again Vasantha has done the same as he voted for Amaravati as AP’s capital instead of the ‘Three Capitals’ the brainchild of AP CM YS Jagan Reddy. But the YCP MLA claimed that it was his personal opinion and it is got nothing to do with the party.

Well this is not just the opinion of Mylavaram MLA but many YCP MLAs from Krishna and Guntur districts. Scared by the party’s leadership and CM Jagan, many MLAs are not expressing their personal opinions and they are worried that this might harm them in the elections.

Nevertheless, MLA Vasantha’s episode seems to be a never ending thing in YCP. The party leadership has an eagle eye on Vasantha and he needs to be extra cautious while reacting to any issue especially the AP capital.
