Survey: The Only Possible Way TO Defeat Jagan

Elections are a year away in Andhra Pradesh and the Election Commission has the responsibility to hold the elections and give clarity on which party would form the government next. While the YCP chief is targeting ‘Why Not 175?’, the opposition TDP is taking out rallies with the slogan ‘Psycho Povali-Cycle Ravali’. There seems to be a neck-to-neck fight between both the parties.

There are many survey agencies in the country which keep doing surveys about people’s pulse and informing the political parties about their winning prospects, even when elections are not round the corner. One such organization, Sri Atma Sakshi, did a survey.

It is learnt that the organization, which has credibility in the political circles, had prepared a report after its representatives did an extensive survey for 4 months in the state. The survey held from November last year to February third week this year presented the findings in the social media.

If elections are held immediately, YCP would win in 63 constituencies, TDP in 78 constituencies, and Jana Sena in 7 constituencies, the report stated. The orgainisation also mentioned the vote percent to be secured by each party.

The ruling YCP would get 41.50% votes, while the TDP would bag 42.50% of votes, Jana Sena 11 per cent votes and others would get 2.5 % of votes.

It is pertinent to note that Atma Sakshi did the survey with an idea that each of the political party would go alone to the polls and hence, stated that there is a chance of hung Assembly in the state.

However, according to the political buzz, the TDP and Jana Sena are likely to forge an alliance ahead of the polls. If both the parties get together, they are likely to get 53.50% of votes. Further, some neutral voters are also likely to support the alliance and the voting percent is likely to be pushed a little further. If this happens, both the parties would make a clean sweep in Andhra Pradesh and the ruling YCP would have to face a humiliating defeat.

It has to be seen if Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, the bosses of TDP and Jana Sena, are aware of this fact. If Jagan has to be defeated, they have to set aside frivolous differences and move ahead towards the goal.
