Reports suggest that Sk Dastagiri, who is an accused-turned-approver in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, has alleged a threat to his life from YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy.
Dastagiri reportedly spoke to reporters on Monday and denied allegations made by Avinash Reddy, stating that he did not accept any money from Sunita or the CBI. He also said that he would be willing to serve a life sentence if the allegations were proven true and challenged Avinash Reddy to resign from his post if the allegations turned out to be false.
According to reports, Dastagiri claimed that his integrity came under question when the CBI investigation into the YS family’s activities led to the arrest of YS Bhaskar Reddy. He reportedly admitted to committing the crime due to promises of money from Gangi Reddy, who is accused number one in the case.
