AP BJP leaders exhibit over confidence about their party’s status every time they appear before the media. The truth is completely poles apart and some BJP leaders have knowledge of the ground reality. In a solo fight, BJP will lose deposit in all the 175 Assembly constituencies and if it teams up with another party, it would win seats in single digit.
Yet the AP BJP leaders have not attempted to strengthen the party in the state. The last time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra, he met the AP leaders and asked the party’s winning chances in the 2024 elections. “We have no scope to win even a single seat,” said a few senior leaders and this reply stunned PM Modi. “Continue to work hard,” said PM Modi without further discussion.
Former minister Vishnu Kumar Raju said the same in Open Heart With RK show. He lamented that the party has come to such a dire status that even PM Modi or the BJP leadership are not offering any help for revival.
On CM Jagan’s performance/governance, Vishnu opined that anarchy is prevailing in Andhra and this has to end. The BJP leader also disclosed that Vizag as capital is not part of the party’s agenda going forward.
