Why Kesineni Nani Stays Away From Mahanadu!

Kesineni Nani

Mahanadu, the two conclave of Telugu Desam party marking the birth anniversary of the party’s founder NT Rama Rao concluded on Sunday. Vemagiri of Kadiyam mandal in East Godavari district hosted Mahanadu and this event was witnessed by all the big to small leaders of TDP because it’s a crucial Mahanadu going forward to face the elections in 2024.

With almost all the leaders making it to Mahanadu, the event did give the TDP cadre a big push to fight against the YCP government. However one person stayed away from Mahanadu and he is Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani. Now the TDP insiders were widely debating about his absence for Mahanadu.

There were no Parliament sessions going on and yet Kesineni Nani did not attend. His fellow MP, Rammohan Naidu graced Mahanadu and even addressed the gathering with his energetic speech. Amidst this Kesineni Nani had written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla seeking his permission to pay tributes to NTR’s photo and statue inside the Parliament.

This letter surfaced in the media and many wondered what Kesineni Nani was doing in Delhi when Mahanadu was going on. Some say that Nani expressed his displeasure against TDP leadership in this way while some are finding out whether Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla allowed Nani to pay homage to NTR.

All in all the Vijayawada MP has decided to take his own route instead of falling in line with the party. It is unclear what Kesineni Nani’s true intentions are and on the other hand party insiders are debating whether TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has knowledge of Nani’s letter to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla.
