CM Jagan Gives Green Signal To Seven Star Hotel At Polavaram?

It’s all happening around Polavaram in Andhra Pradesh. The other day, the government of India sanctioned a massive amount of around Rs 12K crore for the construction works and after this AP CM YS Jagan Reddy visited the Polavaram project site on Tuesday.

CM Jagan was accompanied by irrigation department officials, construction engineers and the main contractor, Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) head Krishna Reddy. CM Jagan inspected the site and learned the details of this construction progress. During this interaction, ‘Megha’ Krishna Reddy has come up with a proposal that even CM Jagan was convinced and gave an unofficial nod for it.

‘Megha’ Krishna Reddy proposed to set up a five star hotel near to the Polavaram dam. He informed CM Jagan that he had pitched this idea many times and tried to acquire land but his attempts were in vain. Listening to this, CM Jagan suggested Krishna Reddy to construct a seven star hotel instead of a five star hotel.

In turn Krishna Reddy replied that if the state government allocates land at the earliest, he would manage the construction of hotel and Polavaram dam simultaneously and ensure both would get completed on time.

CM Jagan had a word with officials on Krishna Reddy’s proposal but did not take a final decision. If Megha Krishna Reddy is very keen on developing a seven star hotel, the AP government would certainly sanction all the approvals in the coming days.

Polavaram being a national project, a star hotel would turn the place into a tourist destination.
