Denduluru TDP leader and former minister Chintamaneni Prabhakar made some sensational comments. He announced that he was ready to sacrifice his seat for the sake of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said he was willing to sacrifice his Dendulur Assembly seat if Pawan asked for it. He said he would abide by his party supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu’s directions, in connection with the TDP-JSP alliance.
Chintamaneni attended the TDP politburo, Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in-charges at the party’s office in Mangalagiri on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the state was ruined under the YCP rule. The TDP would take up bus yatras in each constituency to create awareness about the TDP’s manifesto and its promises, he said.
He showered praises on Pawan Kalyan for raising every issue troubling the public in Andhra Pradesh. He reiterated that he was ready to sacrifice his seat for Pawan. “Earlier, I had told that I am ready to carry Pawan on my shoulders and ensure his victory,” he reminded and said that he would stand by those words.
Naidu’s decision is final with regard to allocation of seats and I would ensure the victory of the TDP candidate contesting from Denduluru, irrespective of who it is, he asserted.
When asked about the TDP’s truck with the BJP, Chintamaneni urged the mediapersons not to pull him into any controversies.
Meanwhile, the JSP chief Pawan Kalyan’s Vaarahi yatra is underway in East Godavari district. At present, he is touring in Kakinada lambasting the ruling YCP for its anarchy and anti-people policies.
