Sharmila
On the buzz that YSRTP president Y.S. Sharmila likely to merge her party with the Congress, Pawan said that money alone was not enough to run political parties. “Any political outfit should have a strong ideology and determination to serve the people. If people want to ascend the throne in a jiffy, things will be like this only,” he said.
Despite protests by the volunteers following allegations that they are collecting sensitive data and working as the private army of the YCP by taking public money, Pawan Kalyan continued his tirade against the ruling party.
During his Vaarahi yatra in Tanuku and Tetali, the volunteers literally obstructed Pawan from proceeding ahead, leading to a tense atmosphere.
Pawan made some hot comments against Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy too during his meeting with the Veera Mahilas. He said that he would not keep quiet if the YCP leaders made comments against his family members.
During his campaign in Tadepalligudem, Pawan said that the volunteers, who are acting as the private army of Jagan, were recruited to loot the people and their resources. He made it clear that the Jana Sena was not the B-team of any political party and called upon his party activists to revolt if anybody made such comments. “The people know better whose is a murder team and criminals’ group,” he said.
He questioned Srikalahasti CI Anju Yadav as to who gave him the powers to beat his party activists even while they were protesting peacefully. “I am coming to Srikalahasti and will finalise things there,” he warned.
