Infighting in the YCP came to the fore even in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Jagan toured in minister Roja’s constituency Nagari and released funds for the Vidya Deevena programme.
While unveiling a plaque installed for a development programme in Chittoor district, Jagan took the hands of minister Roja and party leader KJ Santhi and tried to join them together, indicating that they should become friends and work towards strengthening the party in the future.
However, neither Roja nor Santhi could put their hands together for at least a minute. Both the woman leaders took their hands off from CM’s hand within seconds of his attempt to keep them together.
This indicates the differences between both the YCP woman leaders which might not do good to the party, ahead of the elections.
It has to be seen how Jagan would address group rivalry in various constituencies in the coming days.
