Superstar’s Son Debuting As Director, Not Hero

Back in 2022, Superstar Thalapathy Vijay revealed that his elder son Jason Sanjay is getting hefty offers from various star directors but the youngster who is doing his filmmaking course in the USA hasn’t decided any. However, the shock of the day came for fans through this latest announcement by Lyca Productions.

While it has become a norm for the sons of star heroes to get launched as heroes easily, now Vijay’s son Sanjay has decided to become a director. While Vijay helped the production house Lyca stand big in Kollywood, now Lyca is producing the debut film of Sanjay in a grand manner.

Though the cast and other crew details are not unveiled, the production house today released a couple of pictures while making the announcement.

Of course, there are times when few star kids debuted as directors first and then became lead actors. Maybe Vijay’s son Sanjay is also treading on a similar path but then the mass fanbase of the actor might feel a bit disappointed with this move of the youngster.
