The CID has submitted a petition in court requesting custody of Chandrababu Naidu, with the hearing scheduled for Monday. Additionally, Siddharth Luthra has filed both a bail petition and a petition advocating house arrest for Naidu, citing his age and health condition. CID has voiced its opposition to these requests.
Naidu’s legal team has emphasized the need for special arrangements at Rajahmundry jail, where he is expected to be relocated. They have also sought permission for special dietary considerations for him.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that the TDP will submit a bail petition in the High Court on Monday, with the judgment deferred until that day. Consequently, Chandrababu Naidu’s transfer to Rajamahendravaram jail appears imminent.
