Chandrababu Arrest: CID Questioning Begins!

A day after AP High Court struck down Chandrababu Naidu’s quash petition against the skill development scam case and granted two days custody to the CID for further investigation, the CID officials reached the Rajahmundry Central Prison to quiz A-37 Chandrababu in the case. The CID sleuths have begun questioning Naidu. The jail officials have prepared a Conference Hall in the prison for the investigation. Before the investigation, medical examination was conducted to Chandrababu Naidu.

It can be noted that the court has ordered the CID to question Chandrababu inside jail premises. The court directed the CID to quiz Naidu between 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM on today and tomorrow i.e Saturday and Sunday. The court guided the investigation officials to give a 5-minute break for every hour and allowed him to consult his advocate during this break.

The ACB court ordered the CID officials to not use any “third degree” methods or another “violent” methods during the investigation process. ACB court justice Himabindu has also directed the CID officials to conduct medical examination to Naidu before the Custody and after the Custody.

She also asked the CID officials to record Chandrababu Naidu’s investigation through a videographer of the CID and asked the CID to submit the video recordings to the court in a sealed cover.
