Telangana state welcomed its new cabinet today with the swearing-in of Revanth Reddy and his cabinet ministers. One of the special instances today, apart from the obvious main event, Revanth’s swearing-in, was when Mulugu MLA Seethakka took the oath as a cabinet minister.
Right when Seethakka was invited onto the podium to take the oath, the crowd went into a state of exuberance as the whole arena got electrified.
Seethakka had to pause for 15-20 seconds before taking the oath after seeing the mass response she got. She then started taking the oath after the governor Tamilisai prompted her. There was an eccentric response throughout the course of Seethakka’s speech. She too seemed touched by the response as she greeted the crowd.
Seethakka is one of the mass leaders in Telangana Congress and she has a clean and honest image. There are chances for her to be appointed as the home minister of Telangana, as we had reported a couple of days ago.
