Last night, a very intriguing incident happened in Hyderabad as four BRS MLAs, Sunitha Laxma Reddy (Narsapur), Kotha Prabhakar Reddy (Dubbak), Gudem Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru) and Manik Rao (Zaheerabad) met Revanth at his residence. This immediately resulted in theories that these four MLAs were ready to join Congress.
As the reports about these four MLAs possibly joining Congress were catching on like wildfire, the four of them held a media meeting at BRS head office today and explained their version.
Sunitha Laxma Reddy clarified that she, or any of the four MLAs have no intention of joining Congress. She stated that the meeting intends to settle the protocol issue that these four MLAs are having and they took it up to the CM. She dispelled the rumors about them joining Congress.
Mahipal Reddy said he is ready to meet CM Revanth even a thousand times for the welfare of Telangana but will never switch sides. He stressed that he will be with BRS and KCR till his last breath.
Conceivably, the BRS high command could have been annoyed by this meeting and reprimanded the four MLAs. That could be why all four of the MLAs came to Telangana Bhavan today took part in a media meet and dismissed the rumors surrounding them and Congress.
