Recently, BRS working president KTR made a big allegation against Revanth Reddy and Congress high command. He alleged that Revanth Reddy managed Delhi high command and paid 50 crore rupees to Congress leader Manickam Tagore to get the CM post.
Manickam Tagore responded by sending a defamation notice to KTR and gave him 1 week’s time to respond, post which, a case will be filed at Madurai court and KTR will have to attend the hearing in person. He sent a copy of the defamation notice to KTR by mentioning that the BRS working president made false public allegations with ulterior motives.
KTR took just 1 hour to respond to the defamation notice as he reacted to the matter through social media. He quoted the statement from Komatireddy that was made in 2021 where the Congress leader alleged that Tagore sold the TPCC president post to Revanth Reddy.
“Manickam Garu, Why are you in a confused mode and misdirecting these notices?
It was your colleague congressman & MP Venkat Reddy who had alleged on record that Revanth Reddy bribed you and bought the PCC president post for ₹50 Crore
I had merely quoted the same since it was reported widely in media. Neither did Venkat Reddy withdraw the allegation nor did he offer an explanation till date
Suggest that you redirect the defamation notice to the right address of Mr. Venkat Reddy who now sits in the Telangana secretariat” KTR tweeted on the matter as he pushed the blame on to Komatireddy.
