In a positive enforcement to enhance the educational landscape of Andhra Pradesh, a total of 5 major institutions were virtually launched by prime minister Modi as a part of the Vikasit Bharat initiative.
The most significant of the lot is the Indian Institute of Management in Vizag and the IITDM(Design and Manufacturing) in Kurnool. Tirupati is the biggest benefactor of the program as the temple town had three notable educational institutions launched by Modi.
Modi virtually launched the permanent campus of IIT, IISER, and the Sree City IIIT in Tirupati.
AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy virtually took part in the event from the CM Camp Office in Tadepalli along with the Chief Secretary Jawahar Reddy.
A total of 36 projects were launched virtually by Modi the other day and the total valuation of these projects rounds up to Rs 13,375 crore.
