This Could Be My Last Election – Kodali Nani

Kodali Nani has been serving as one of the firebrand leaders for YSR Congress for the last decade or so and he emerged as one of the trusted leaders for Jagan. However, Nani’s tenure in YSR Congress could be drawing to a close in the foreseeable future as he announced that this could be his last election.

Nani said he is growing old as he is 53 years old already and by the time next term elections approach, he will be near retirement age so this could well be his final election.

‘I am 53 now and I will approach retirement age by the time of the next election so I will be stepping out once this term is done. It is better to let youngsters fight for their place here as my time will be done by then. My daughter has no interest in politics so she won’t replace me. Maybe my brother might enter the scene if he has the interest and determination.” Kodali Nani said.

Kodali Nani is one of the vocally aggressive leaders in YSR Congress for a decade and he has been relevant in the AP political landscape for multiple decades but he has announced his potential retirement plan in a low-key manner.
