Congress List: Sharmila Locks Avinash

Andhra Pradesh Congress has started the preparations for the coming polls in its own capacity as the party has reportedly finalized the candidates for 17 MP and 117 MLA constituencies. The mainstay of the list is obviously the candidacy of Sharmila which naturally draws a lot of interest.

According to the latest media reports, Sharmila is nearly confirmed to contest from the Kadapa parliament constituency and she will be coming up against her cousin Avinash Reddy. The clash between Sharmila and Avinash Reddy is going to be very interesting to watch. After touring the stretch of AP in 2019, asking the voters to support Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sharmila has reached a point where she is directly contesting against Jagan’s party.

Congress senior Raghuveera Reddy who was with AP Congress through thick and thin has decided to stay away from contesting the election.

Congress is likely to field Satya Reddy from the Vizag Lok Sabha segment, former AP Congress president Gidugu Rudra Raju from Rajahmundry, and Pallam Raju from Kakinada.
