Rebellious ex-MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju fought an intense head-on battle with CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the last 4 and a half years before quitting YSRCP just a few weeks back. While it was expected that he would be confirmed to join the TDP+ alliance, there was skepticism about the date of the joining.
Putting an end to the wait, Raghu Rama took the plunge as he joined the Telugu Desam Party today. He met Chandrababu Naidu at Palakollu a few moments back and he officially joined the Telugu Desam Party.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was formally welcomed into Telugu Desam by Chandrababu Naidu. Previously, RRR was briefly with Telugu Desam back in 2018 but this stint ended after he joined YCP in 2019 after securing the Nasapuram Lok Sabha ticket. Now, he is back with Telugu Desam, for what promises to be his most important and serious political endeavor till date.
There is an underlying internal talk that RRR is likely to content from the Undi assembly constituency on the TDP ticket. Now that RRR has joined Telugu Desam, the announcement about his candidacy could be out in a day or two.
