Why KCR Shockingly Silent About Kavitha?

K Kavitha, the doting daughter of KCR was recently arrested in the Delhi Liquor Policy case and she is being investigated by the central authorities. But despite this significant development against BRS, KCR hasn’t yet opened his mouth about this topic.

Kavitha was arrested by the ED some 20 days ago and she was shifted to Delhi. After Kavitha’s arrest and subsequent shift to Tihar jail, KTR and Harish Rao toured Delhi for a few days and met senior lawyers. But this too fizzed out later as they went silent after a few days of efforts. But shockingly, Kavitha’s father KCR hasn’t once spoken about her arrest. He hasn’t even condemned the arrest till now despite coming to meet the public as a part of the Polam Baata program.

KCR is usually firmly against BJP and takes every occasion to critique the central government. But when his own daughter has been arrested in a liquor policy case, he hasn’t spoken a word on this matter. BRS forces are worried that KCR’s shocking silence might send a signal to the public that Kavitha is at fault in the case and that’s why he isn’t responding.

A few political analysts are commenting that KCR’s silence might be strategic as he wants to be in the good books of BJP after losing power to Congress in Telangana and that is why he isn’t speaking against Kavitha’s arrest.
