It’s Official Adhyaksha, RRR From Undi

Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has called it quits for his tenure as MP from the YSR Congress Party and he has started on a new journey at Telugu Desam Party. After joining TDP yesterday, Raghu Rama has been handed over a key post. 

According to the latest communication, Telugu Desam has announced Raghu Rama as the party candidate from the Undi assembly constituency. 

RRR is replacing TDP’s sitting MLA from Undi, Mantena Rama Raju who was announced as the candidate by Chandrababu a few days ago. The replacement has been enforced in view of RRR’s recent joining in TDP. 

This is an amicable decision taken by TDP after consulting the sitting MLA, Rama Raju and he has announced full support to RRR. 

TDP has been winning the Undi constituency since the 2009 election and this is now seen as a sure-shot seat for RRR. Jagan recently announced PVL Narasimha Raju as YCP candidate from Undi and it can be expected that YCP will deploy the best of its troopers to fight against RRR in the Undi assembly segment.  There is also trending on social media that, if RRR wins in Undi and TDP+ forms government, Chandrababu will appoint Raju as AP Assembly speaker, though it is too early to make such comments.
