There are two parallel political arguments in Telangana. While one is done by BRS, where the party leaders say CM Revanth Reddy will soon defect to BJP with his group of MLAs, the other is by Congress and BJP, where they are clearly saying BRS is a gone case in Telangana and will be irrelevant after the Lok Sabha election.
In the midst of this political debate, BRS’s main head, KCR has come out with the intent to resurrect his party cadres and instill new josh into them.
KCR has claimed on live TV that a Congress bigwig leader approached him, saying that he has 20-25 Congress MLAs on his side and he is ready to support BRS to run a coalition government. KCR hinted about a highly unlikely BRS-Congress government which would be a mixture of BRS MLAs and the faction of 20-25 Congress MLAs.
On one hand, Congress immediately struck down KCR’s argument saying that he is exhibiting false bravado as BRS had become a sinking ship. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy replied to this KCR statement by saying that 20 BRS MLAs are in touch with Congress and are ready to join their ranks. He said Congress doesn’t think like KCR to illicitly pull other party MLAs despite having full strength in the assembly.
Amidst this highly animated argument from BRS and Congress, the coming Lok Sabha election result is of quintessential importance for all the leading parties, including BJP.
