AP BJP Better Be Silent To Obey ‘Potthu Dharmam’

On one hand, Chandrababu, at the ripe age of 74 is tirelessly campaigning for the TDP+ alliance, and on the other hand, Pawan Kalyan, despite his challenging health conditions is doing the best he can to support the alliance. AP BJP is the silent benefactor of the constant efforts of the JSP and TDP leaders.

However, instead of trying their best to support Naidu and Pawan, AP BJP is doing something very odd which is in turn detrimental to the alliance itself.

Recently, it was Ambika Krisnna who said many AP BJP leaders were left with nothing as TDP leaders walked away with the MLA and MP tickets.

Now it is the turn of AP BJP veteran Raghunatha Babu, who previously served as AP Tobacco board Chairman to prove detrimental to the alliance. He said the TDP-JSP manifesto is not feasible and said the BJP doesn’t ally with the promises made by Chandrababu.

He said the pre-poll promises made by TDP and JSP are economically unviable and BJP doesn’t support them one bit. ‘Jagan’s schemes itself are damaging state finances then how can Chandrababu’s promises be implemented?’

While these AP BJP leaders might be displeased with not getting the MLA/MP tickets, these untoward comments will deplete the sanctity of the alliance.

While Chandrababu is repeatedly saying he will bring more investments to AP, generate more revenues and thus do more welfare schemes, AP BJP leaders can at least be silent about it and let Naidu do his work.

But passing such negative commentary will only make things worse. Perhaps a few AP BJP leaders have forgotten that they are being carried by Naidu’s relentless efforts, a senior TDP activist told Gulte.com.
