#Scary visuals of #HyderabadRains

The twin cities received an unprecedented rain on Tuesday. Water getting logged at key junctions, colonies flooded, trees and electric poles falling down was witnessed at every coroner. Even the Hyderabad –Vijayawada highway was not spared and due to this kilometres of traffic jam was seen.

In some colonies, bikes and cars got washed away or overturned and many colonies across the twin cities are water logged. Due to heavy rain, a wall has collapsed in the old city killing nine people. The Disaster Relief Teams and Police have been working round the clock since yesterday to clear the water log.

Meanwhile minister KTR has called for an emergency meeting this morning with GHMC, police and other officials. He asked to speed up the rescue operations and clear the water logs at major junctions to restore the traffic moment.

Also in view of this Ameerpet Passport office and Nehru Zoo park are closed on Wednesday.
