The TDP cadre termed the party’s victory as ‘Bhuvana Vijayam’. The party activists said that the YCP’s downfall began right on the day the party leaders passed abusive remarks against TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari in the Assembly.

Later, Chandrababu’s break down video outside the assembly goes viral. Not only TDP leader but the neutral viewers felt sorry of Chandrababu & Bhuvaneswari at that time. Naidu calls the Assembly as ‘Kaurava Sabha’ and took owe only he will return as CM back to assembly.

The TDP functionaries felt that the YCP received the right punishment for all the sins the party leaders had committed during the last five years.

The partymen also remembered how Bhuvaneswari and her daughter-in-law Brahmani together pulled off the political campaigning when Naidu was lodged in the Rajahmundry Central Jail for nearly 50 days after being arrested for alleged scam related to Skill Development Corporation.

However, after his release, Naidu thanked the people for the immense love and respect they showed him throughout the way from Rajahmundry to Vijayawada, by bowing down at his feet and sleeping on the footpaths, as they waited to catch a glimpse of him while passing en route.

The TDP made a clean sweep in Andhra Pradesh with the party candidates set to register victories from a majority of the constituencies.
