The biggest brainchild of Chandrababu Naidu, Amaravati went through extreme turbulence in the last five years under the YS Jagan government. But now that things have changed with the resurgence of the TDP government, Amaravati is slowly but surely regaining its lost sheen.
Today, Chandrababu Naidu, for the first time after taking charge as the CM of AP has visited the Amaravati capital region. He toured the Praja Vedika Bhavan which was dismantled and destroyed by the Jagan government immediately after coming to power. The gravity of the damage done was assessed by Naidu.
Then, Naidu visited the sacred Amaravati Pooja sight where the foundation stone was laid for the mega capital project. He, along with fellow ministers toured the pooja sight and in fact, Naidu was seen getting emotional upon revisiting the place. He then did a Sashtanga Pranamam at the pooja sight as a show of respect.
Rejuvenated Chandrababu is now determined to revive the Amaravati project and the first official visit to the capital area has set the stage for what is to come.
