It is known that BRS working president KTR took a legal course of action after Konda Surekha named him in an ugly scandal pertaining to Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce. The case came to a hearing at the Nampally court after KTR filed a defamation case for Rs 100 crore and here is what the bench had to say on this matter.
The court reprimanded Konda Surekha for making such wild accusations on public forums. An injunction order was passed to restrain Konda Surekha from making such derogatory statements on KTR in the future.
Adding further, the court instructed media publications and social media handles to take down the posts covering Konda Surekha’s statement. It is essentially established that she crossed the line while making politically triggering comments on KTR.
Major online platforms, including YouTube, Google, and Meta Platforms, have been directed to remove defamatory videos and articles, as mentioned in the petition.
While Konda Surekha had already apologized to Samantha for hurting her feelings, KTR approached the lead route and sought Rs 100 crores in the defamation case. It has to be seen how he would proceed with the same henceforth.
