What’s This BRS Leader says About Jagan & Lokesh

It is no secret that Sabitha Indra Reddy is one of the hardcore loyalists of the late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy. After the passing of her husband Indra Reddy who was a Telangana TDP leader, she moved to Congress and was an integral part of the Congress ecosystem while YSR was active in politics. In accordance, she was made the home minister by YSR both the times he became CM.

While it is only natural to expect the Sabitha Indra Reddy family to be stoic well-wishers of the YS family, it appears that they have a rather low regard for Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Incidentally, Sabitha Indra Reddy’s son Karthik Reddy who is now active in BRS was asked about the contemporary youngsters in politics and he had a mellowed response when asked about Jagan.

When the interviewer asked about Jagan, Karthik Reddy simply referred to him as YSR’s son and that’s it. There wasn’t even a formal praise either. He did the same for Sharmila as well. But when asked about Nara Lokesh, Karthik replied “He is a bright leader for the future”.

The natural expectation is that Karthik Reddy must have spoken highly of Jagan than Lokesh. But as it turned out, he confined Jagan to just being YSR’s son while Lokesh is accredited as a bright leader for the future.

Has the historic downfall of Jagan’s YCP in 2024 elections completely disregarded him even amongst loyalists? It certainly looks as such.
