‘Good Job’, BJP MLA Texts CM Revanth

The Sandhya theatre episode is drawing largely polarised responses from the public and also political spectrum as well. Interestingly, enough, the BJP wing itself has taken different sides on this matter.

The likes of Kishan Reddy and Purandeshwari have condemned the crackdown on Allu Arjun by CM Revanth Reddy. And on the other hand, we have another outspoken BJP MLA from AP, Vishnu Kumar Raju who has pledged full support to Revanth Reddy on this matter.

Speaking with the media, Vishnu Kumar Raju said “In my opinion, this benefit show culture must be stopped. Who are the benefactors of this benefit show model? What is for certain is that the common public who are crazy about films are losing money from their pockets by spending ₹900 on a ticket that costs 300.”

“And on top of that, there is this stampede issue that arises with these benefit shows which poses threat to lives. Kishan Reddy might see this as a political vendetta and Purandeshwari might question how Allu Arjun, being an A11 in the case could be arrested. But my opinion is that Revanth Reddy was absolutely right with this.”

Vishnu said he even texted Revanth Reddy about the good work he has been putting up with regard to the case. Well, Vishnu Kumar Raju is anyway an outspoken leader. He has now set aside BJP’s larger narrative of siding with Allu Arjun on this matter and has strengthened Revanth’s argument.
